Xmas Mini Session 2024
Our Xmas mini sessions are happening on the below dates:
- Sunday 3rd November - only 2 slots remaining
- Sunday 8th December - 5 slots remaining
- Sunday 15th December - sold out
How much is the session: The 25 min session is €175
Location: The Little Theatre, Skerries, Co Dublin
Will there be studio lights: Yes, there will be a backdrop and lights set up with a Christmas scene
Parking: There is ample free parking in the Community Centre for patrons which is includes our venue, The Little Theatre.
Facilities: There are toilet and changing facilities located in the venue
How long will my session be: 25 mins for photos.
How many photos will I receive: you will get 5 fully edited digital images sent by an online gallery which you can share with friends and family and download the images to save.
Can I order prints: Unfortunately the printing service will not be available for the Xmas session as i cannot guarantee they will be ready before Xmas.
Where should I order the photos: I recommend www.fotostore.ie for small/medium prints. For larger bespoke sizes or different format like fine art or canvas options I would recommend Conns Cameras - www.connscameras.ie
Can we change outfits: Unfortunately as each session is only 25mins there would not be enough time to change outfits
What should we wear: This is a personal choice. Some families go for the outdoor wooly hats and boots looks, others go for Pajama's and slippers. Whatever you choose I would recommend that all outfits are consistent ie all of the same theme and colour pallet. I would not advise having a sequin dress on one family member and pajamas on another.
What age should my children be: This shoot is not suitable for newborns. Children should be able to sit unaided or be seated with a sibling or parent that can hold them up.
What if my child will not sit/smile for the photo: I have photographed many children and families over the years and have a few tricks up my sleeve being a mama of 2! You will be surprised how many photos we can get in the 25 min slot and this will increase our chances of getting 5 images. However I cannot guarantee 100% cooperation on the day, from feeling unwell, to skipping a nap things can often not go to plan. We will do our best in the time that we have but the perfect shot isn't always a guarantee. What you will receive is a photo of a moment in time, sometimes that is tears sometime its joy but it will always be a snapshot of a moment that you wont forget. I would recommend to treat the space as a little cuddle area, try to relax and not act like you need to perform for the camera. I want to capture that feeling and often that i when people are not looking at the camera.
